There are over 30 languages spoken and nourished in St. Catherine's NS.
Our annual Multi cultural event is organised by the St Catherine's NS Parents' Association along with the children, teachers and wider community, where foods, cultures and traditions are celebrated and shared.
We have parent and child language classes facilitated by the EAL teachers. Weekly meetups for children across the school who speak the same languages.
Home languages are nourished through bilingual books in every library. Bilingual storytelling and weekly meetups for children who speak the same languages across the school can come and chat, play and learn from each other.
